At our September meeting, Rugeley & District Lions Club were delighted to present a £200 donation to Creative Performance Academy (CPA) in Rugeley.

Our donation will help support the Academy in providing opportunities for local young people to enjoy and develop their skills in acting, dancing and singing.

Creative Performance Academy is a Musical Theatre and Performing Arts School in Rugeley, catering for all age groups. Run by principals Hayley and Donna, the Academy offers fun, dynamic classes in a relaxed and friendly environment, covering all aspects of Musical Theatre.

Students enjoy learning routines from a variety of their favourite musicals, while developing new skills, confidence and a love of performing. They also have the exciting opportunity to take part in two shows each year at The Victory Church.

Classes take place during term time every Thursday from 4.30pm to 6.30pm at Slitting Mill Hall. Fees are £5 per hour, paid monthly, and a free trial is available for anyone wanting to give it a try.
