So many people and organisations help our Rugeley and District Lions Club.

We would like to acknowledge and thank the following people/organisations who give up their time to help us in our quest to help and support our Local Communities.

Amazon

Amazon have very kindly donated a lot of items to our Club, which we use as raffle prizes to raise money to help our Local Communities.

Rugeley Rotary Club

Every year we join forces with Rugeley Rotary Club to bring you the Santa Sleigh, which tours Rugeley and District areas for two weeks during December.

Victory Church

All through the year Victory Church help us by taking Toy donations. These toys are then distributed via Victory Church’s Week of Wonder, Social services and by other organisations who help families in need at Christmas.

Morrisons, Tesco, Wolsley Garden Centre, Rugeley Community Church.

These organisations help us every year with being the official drop off points for our Christmas Toy collection.

Peak Health Foods

Marie and her husband Jason very kindly stepped in as Friends of Lions, by dressing up as Lions at Rugeley Charter Fair. They did a sterling job and the children loved them.

Tavern In the Town

Barry from the Tavern also stepped in as a Friend of Lions and also donned a Lion’s suit at the Charter fair, all the Lions proved to be a great hit with the children.

Fellow Lion Clubs

A big thank you to Cannock, Barton and Stafford Lions for their help in supporting our events, lending a hand when we are short of helpers and volunteering on the Santa Sleigh run.

We would not be able to put on  our Santa Sleigh with out those Elves who join us every year to knock on doors and collect donations, your help is appreciated and we are very grateful to those of you who turn up , even in poor and very cold weather. So a very big thank you to you all.
