District Governor Visits Rugeley & District Lions Club
Rugeley & District Lions Club was delighted to welcome District Governor John Fitchett and 2nd Vice District Governor Tony Foster to our July club meeting.
The evening began with presentations of cheques to two local community groups, highlighting the club’s continued commitment to supporting organisations making a real difference in our community.
Following the presentations, our guests enjoyed a guided tour of the Community Garden, before everyone gathered for refreshments and an opportunity to chat, share ideas and enjoy each other’s company.
Lions on duty for the evening were Club President Debra Coburn, Peter Fielding, Pauline Holmes, Jane Stevenson, and John and Elaine Morgan, whose hard work helped ensure the visit ran smoothly.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening, and we would like to thank District Governor John Fitchett and 2nd Vice District Governor Tony Foster for taking the time to visit our club. Their support and encouragement are greatly appreciated, and we look forward to welcoming them back to Rugeley & District Lions Club in the future.
