Christmas Dinner Hampers – Supporting Local Families

In the lead‑up to Christmas, members of the Rugeley & District Lions Club were hard at work preparing Christmas Dinner Hampers for families supported by Rugeley Foodbank and other local organisations.

Lions Elaine, Debra (Club President) and Mandy spent the week purchasing everything needed for a traditional festive meal, including ingredients for a roast chicken dinner and Christmas pudding for dessert. These hampers were delivered in time for families to enjoy a warm, comforting Christmas meal together.

This was just one of several projects that kept the Lions busy during the festive season, alongside the Santa Sleigh tours, the Toy Appeal deliveries to local families, and the shopping and distribution of Christmas Dinner Hamper bags.
