Easter Egg Donations 2026

Rugeley Lions Deliver Easter Joy to Schools and Community

The Rugeley & District Lions Club has been spreading Easter cheer across the local area with a series of generous donations to schools and community organisations.

Every pupil at Forest Hill Primary School and Chase View Primary School received a special Easter egg, bringing smiles to 149 children. Club President Debra Coburn, alongside Lion Mandy, visited the schools to present the gifts, creating a memorable Easter moment for pupils.

The Lions’ efforts also reached beyond the classroom. Members including Debra, Peter, Pauline and Jane visited Horsefair Care Home, where they donated 30 Easter eggs in support of the home’s seasonal celebrations.

A spokesperson for the club said the initiative highlights their ongoing commitment to supporting local families and bringing joy to the community, particularly during special times of the year like Easter.
