After our successful VE Day Cream Tea for Senior Citizens , we decided to hold another one for VJ DAY. In partnership with Staffordshire Coffee Lounge, the event was a sell out. Entertainment was provided by Singer Lydia who sang poular songs from the 1940’s and got us all waving our flags. Jane and the hardworking staff at Staffs Coffee Lounge kept the food trays, tea and coffee jugs stocked, whilst Lions Pauline, Jane, Elaine, Peter and John served hot drinks and trays of sandwiches accompanied with jam and cream scones. Thanks to all those who attended we hope that you enjoyed yourselves.
