Rugeley & District Lions Club were proud to support local fundraiser Mihai during Day 49 of his extraordinary 50-day swimming challenge.

As part of our support, the Club presented a donation of £250 to help Mihai continue raising funds for his brother Andrei, who lives with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, and to assist with improving the family’s living conditions.

It was a pleasure to see so many people from the local community gathered to cheer Mihai on and celebrate his outstanding commitment and determination.

Mihai’s final swim will take place early on Monday morning. Although the Lions will not be able to attend in person, we will be thinking of him and wishing him every success as he completes this incredible challenge.

Well done, Mihai — your dedication and generosity are an inspiration to us all.
