Three Rugeley & District Lions Recognised for Their Outstanding Voluntary Service

Rugeley & District Lions Club is celebrating a proud achievement after three of its members were recognised by Support Staffordshire for their dedication to volunteering and serving the local community.

Club President Debra Coburn represented the club at the recent Support Staffordshire networking event held at Lea Hall Social Club. The event brought together charities, voluntary organisations, and community groups from across the area, providing an excellent opportunity to share ideas, build partnerships, and celebrate the invaluable contribution made by volunteers.

During the event, three members of Rugeley & District Lions Club were presented with certificates in recognition of their commitment to voluntary service:

  • Lion Debra Coburn – Club President
  • Lion Elaine Morgan
  • Lion Peter Fielding

The awards recognise the time, dedication, and compassion each recipient has shown in supporting local people and community projects. Whether organising fundraising events, assisting at community activities, or working behind the scenes, their commitment helps make a real difference to the lives of others.

Rugeley & District Lions Club is incredibly proud of Debra, Elaine, and Peter for this well-deserved recognition. Their achievements reflect the values of Lionism and the positive impact that volunteering has within our community.

Congratulations to all three recipients, and thank you for your continued service.
