As well as working hard for the local community of Rugeley and surrounding areas, we relax by organising social events for Lions and friends of Lions.
This year so far we have attended a bowling evening with our friends from Barton Lions.
We thoroughly enjoy these events and look forward to them every year.

32nd Anniversary Charter Dinner
Rugeley & District Lions Club Charter night celebrated 32 years of serving the community. The venue was at Ingestre Golf Club and entertainment was by Becca Gee . Special guest was District Governor Ian Francis and guests were Councillors Olivia Lyons and Robert Hughes , Cannock Lions Club , Stafford Lions Club , Burntwood Lions , Barton under Needwood Lions Club and Brereton Millions . Master of Ceremonies was Lion Jane Pallister . During the evening DG Ian Francis presented President Debra Coburn with the Melvin Jones fellowship award for exemplary service .
